Job Title: Banquet Server

With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, we're seeking a talented Banquet Server to support the Events Department in providing seamless operations during the events held at The Square.  

As a Banquet Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring our events operate smoothly and our guests are provided with exceptional customer service.  

Responsibilities:  

1. Set up and break down event spaces.  

1. Deliver outstanding food and beverage service, with a focus on positive guest experience.  

1. Assist the Events Manager and teammates with whatever tasks are required (with a positive attitude!) 

1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the event spaces before, during, and after each event.  

1. Liaise with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and prompt food service during events.  

1. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with customer preferences, company guidelines, and state/federal requirements .  

1. Track and manage inventory levels for beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), food items, and event supplies before, during, and after each event.  

1. Ensure that all items are washed and properly stowed in the Events Closet at the conclusion of every event, prior to checking out with the Events Manager  

Qualifications/Experience:  

• Proven experience in bartending and/or serving roles.  

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.  

• Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.  

• Dependable and punctual to ensure reliable shift coverage.  

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.  

• Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices.  

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.  

• Capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.  

Reports to: Director of Operations and Events Manager  

Job Type: On-Call  

Pay Range: $28/hr  

Schedule: Monday-Saturday  

• Weekends and Evenings as needed.
