DSG is seeking a Plumbing & HVAC Counter/Inside Sales Associate in our Spirit Lake , IA location. In this full time, hourly  position, work is typically performed between the hours of 7 am and 4pm, Monday through Friday , but may vary on occasion according to business needs. As a Counter/Inside Sales Associate , you will assist in growing our overall Plumbing/HVAC sales in the Spirit Lake area via responsibilities at both the City Desk and Inside Sales department.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Plumbing & HVAC Counter/Inside Sales Associate at DSG:

• Serve as a primary facilitator for customer orders 
• Assist customers in a professional manner with product inquiries 
• Write (and occasionally assist to fill) orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Generate customer quotations and follow up on quotes requested
• Provide trouble-shooting and technical support
• Work with other sales team members to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner
• Restock the counter area according to product brand and location
• Monitor product inventory and cull damaged product 
• Maintain a clean and appealing counter display area
• Identify and encourage the sale of additional products as applicable
• Perform other duties as assigned

A Successful Plumbing & HVAC Counter/Inside Sales Associate Typically Has: 

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Product and technical knowledge normally acquired in two or more years of college or technical school OR 3-5 years field experience in the residential/commercial applications of
