Make a meaningful impact each day by supporting students’ growth and independence through occupational therapy services in a contract-based school setting near Wauconda, IL. You’ll work within a welcoming educational environment, focusing on helping children develop essential fine and gross motor skills. This dynamic role is ideal for professionals who enjoy collaboration, creative problem solving, and adapting to diverse needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Recent experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings
- Skill working with fine and gross motor development in children
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Adaptable and enthusiastic about individualized student progress
- Experience with home health OT or related healthcare roles is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Assess and document students’ motor skills, strengths, and areas for developmental support
- Design and implement tailored interventions for fine and gross motor needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster optimal growth
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide timely progress updates as needed
- Travel to various assigned locations within the district for service delivery, if necessary

Compensation for this position ranges from $39.46 to $59.46. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
