Senior It Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex initiatives within Capital Markets and Operations technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, trading lifecycle, post-trade operations, and enterprise IT project management. This role requires hands-on leadership in managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, timelines, and budgets to deliver critical technology solutions.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for IT initiatives across Capital Markets and Operations, from initiation through delivery.Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Oversee development, testing, implementation, and integration of solutions supporting trading, settlement, reconciliation, and risk platforms.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while managing risks, dependencies, and change control.Manage senior-level communication, governance reporting, and stakeholder alignment across business and technology units.Drive Agile or hybrid methodologies while maintaining delivery discipline and accountability.Coordinate with compliance, information security, infrastructure, and data teams to meet regulatory and operational requirements.Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to project team members and contribute to PMO best practices.Required Skills & Experience:8–12+ years of IT project management experience in financial services, with a strong focus on Capital Markets and Operations.In-depth understanding of trading lifecycle, post-trade operations, settlements, and clearing systems.Proven experience delivering technology solutions (applications, system migrations, infrastructure changes) in Capital Markets environments.Solid knowledge of project governance, SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior leadership.Experience managing cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and off-shore delivery partners.Familiarity with platforms such as Calypso, Murex, Client, or other capital markets systems is a plus.PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
