Workday Systems Administrator III

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Workday Systems Administrator III in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and optimization of Workday Financials and related systems.

Responsibilities:
* Serve as a primary administrator for Workday Financials, including system configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support
* Coordinate system health checks and release impact assessments
* Manage system updates, releases, and enhancements in partnership with IT and external vendors
* Monitor system performance, integrations, and data integrity across Finance-related processes
* Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while providing timely support to business users
* Maintain security roles, access controls, and data governance standards
* Support Workday Financials implementation efforts, including configuration validation, testing, and deployment activities
* Lead or contribute to system enhancement and optimization initiatives
* Collaborate with Finance, HRIS, IT, business users, and external vendors to deliver scalable solutions
* Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, processes, and the overall user experience
* Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve process efficiency
* Perform system audits related to usage, integrations, and data accuracy
* Monitor and validate data flows between Workday and downstream systems
* Ensure compliance with applicable financial controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
* Support audit requests by providing system documentation, reporting, configuration inventories, and control evidence
* Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions and documentation

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* 3-5 years of experience in financial systems administration
* Experience supporting Finance and Procurement processes
* Strong understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, and Payroll integrations
* Experience supporting testing cycles, including UAT, regression testing, and post-deployment validation
* Experience with system integrations, reporting tools, dashboards, and data requests
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to gather business requirements and translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly solutions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Self-starter with a proactive and continuous-improvement mindset
* Strong customer service orientation with a focus on user adoption and satisfaction
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays during system upgrades or critical periods
* Experience supporting ERP systems, with Workday Financials strongly preferred
* Experience with Workday Financials configuration, reporting, and security preferred
* Experience with Infinium, Stratton Warren, or other ERP platforms is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
