Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,825 per week (Hiring Immediately)

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting with telemetry monitoring, supporting a diverse patient population across multiple units. Job Details Schedule: Rotating shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license, at least 3 years of related work experience, CPR-AHA, ACLS-AHA certifications, experience in a teaching hospital, Level I trauma experience, and familiarity with Epic electronic medical records. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise. Level I trauma experience required. Responsibilities include managing ventilators (RT, RN responsible for administering nebulizers), performing unit-specific procedures such as 12-lead EKGs, lasix gtt, blood transfusions, telemetry monitoring. Orientation is weekly, every Monday barring holidays. Supporting 15 medical surgical units, specializing in neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gyn, GU, hips and joints, oncology, transplant liver and kidneys, and vascular. Travel RNs are assigned to a unit for 2-3 weeks, with some assignments announced 2 hours prior to shifts. Inpatient patient ratios average from 4:1 on days to 6:1 on nights. Every other weekend and holidays are required. Must be separated from the healthcare organization for 6 months to be considered. No call required. Candidates must provide availability at time of submission, including dates and times for interview. Uniform: Any color scrubs. Parking can cost up to $43/day if working days; public transportation is available.
