Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee core accounting and financial reporting activities across multiple business units within a real estate-focused environment. This is a full-time, in-office role responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely close cycles, and compliance with established accounting standards.


In this position, the Senior Accountant will coordinate financial processes across several entities, contribute to consolidated reporting, and collaborate with operational teams to maintain accurate and consistent financial data. The role involves detailed analysis, reconciliation work, and participation in ongoing process enhancements.


What You'll Do:


• Generate financial reports including balance sheets and income statements across multiple entities


• Coordinate monthly and annual close cycles, ensuring deadlines are met and entries are accurate


• Review and compile journal entries such as accruals, allocations, and reclassifications


• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to resolution


• Assist with consolidated financial reporting and intercompany activity tracking


• Support cash management activities and monitor financial transactions


• Contribute to audit preparation and provide required documentation


• Collaborate with operational teams to validate financial data and reporting outputs


• Evaluate financial trends and report variances to leadership


• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting accuracy, and system usage


What We're Looking For:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field


• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus


• Minimum four years of accounting experience in a multi-entity or complex environment


• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards


• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet skills


• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize workload effectively


• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail


• Clear communication skills and ability to interact across teams
