The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.Status: Full Time RegularShift: DAY SHIFTDepartment: PharmacyPosition SummarySummary:The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for conducting clinical Pharmacy services and ensuring that the Pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. The Clinical Pharmacist participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective medication therapies. He/she will promote Pharmacists as integral members of the health-care team in order to allow full utilization of their clinical and medication use control functions that would be beneficial in each health setting.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • Doctor of Pharmacy Degree • ASHP-Accredited PGY-1 required, PGY-2 preferredExperience And Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Speaks, reads and writes English • 2 years clinical hospital experience.License/Certifications • New York State Pharmacy License. • New York State Pharmacy Registration Certificate. • Current certificate in BLS from the American Heart Association. • Immunization Certification. • Oncology Pharmacy Specialty Certification (BCOP) strongly encouragedWorking ConditionsOther information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • May require admixture of chemotherapeutic agents. • May require prolonged periods of standing. • Moderate physical activityJob SummaryJob Type: FTEmployment Type: EMPLOYEELocation: Oceanside, NY, US
