RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM in CV PreOp unit
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in 4-bed cardiovascular pre-operative unit
• Stay late 1-2 times per week as needed
• Float within scope of practice and experience
• Critical care experience required, pre-operative experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must demonstrate excellent documentation skills using Cerner system
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-acuity patient environment
• Excellent communication skills with interdepartmental teams required
• Strong critical thinking skills essential
• Perform large-bore IV starts, medication administration, and skin assessments
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Conduct chin to toe hair removal and transport patients to OR
• Assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin preparation
• Work with GE Carescape monitoring equipment and Fuji ultrasound
• Uniform provided
