Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary:
Experienced OR RN needed to independently circulate in orthopedics, spine, and neuro surgeries. Candidate must possess strong surgical skills and the ability to support complex cases, including robotic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate as a circulating nurse in orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgical procedures, maintaining sterile protocol and patient safety.
• Assist surgeons during surgeries, anticipating needs and managing equipment, including robotic systems like DiVinci.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient case flow and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies for each case, ensuring readiness for complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries.
• Provide coverage during variable shifts, including on-call at least one weekend per month, with potential for float within a 30-mile radius.

Qualifications:

• Hold 4-5 years of OR RN experience, with proven circulation skills in neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries.
• Demonstrate proficiency in circulating and scrubbing, especially with complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic cases.
• Be comfortable supporting robotic surgeries, including DiVinci.
• Possess essential certifications such as ACLS and BLS.
• Be able to work flexible hours, including variable shifts, weekends, and holidays.
