Automotive Dealership Finance Manager (F&I)

Citrus Motors Ford and Kia | $150,000–$300,000+ Annual Earning Potential

Minimum qualification: At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive dealership Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager. Candidates must have personally typed contracts, completed retail and lease

paperwork, and managed deals through funding.

This is not an entry-level position.

Position Overview

Our Finance Manager will independently manage the F&I process from sales turnover through contracting

and funding. The ideal candidate has a proven record of dealership F&I performance and can confidently

structure deals, present protection products, work with lenders, and complete accurate contracts.

Key Responsibilities

 Independently structure and contract retail and lease transactions, accurately preparing all required

paperwork and disclosures.

 Present financing options and F&I protection products clearly and professionally.

 Work with lenders to obtain approvals, satisfy stipulations, and secure timely funding.

 Review deal files for accuracy and completeness, resolve funding issues, and manage contracts in

transit.

 Follow applicable compliance requirements, lender guidelines, and dealership policies.

 Meet or exceed dealership expectations for F&I production, product penetration, customer satisfaction,

and paperwork accuracy.

 Partner with the sales team to provide an efficient, professional customer delivery experience.

 Answer customer questions and resolve concerns regarding financing, contracts, and protection

products.

Required Qualifications

 Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically as an F&I Manager in an automotive dealership.

 Direct, hands-on experience typing and finalizing automotive retail installment contracts and lease

agreements.

 Ability to independently manage the entire F&I process, including deal structure, lender approvals,

product presentations, contracting, and funding.

 Proven F&I performance, with the ability to discuss production figures and product penetration from

current or previous roles.

 Strong knowledge of automotive lending, F&I products, and dealership compliance.

 Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and electronic contracting.

 Excellent communication, sales, organizational, and follow-through skills.

 A commitment to customer satisfaction, ethical sales practices, and accurate paperwork.

 High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

 Experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, and Darwin is preferred, but not required.

 Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
