VIP Manager

Coming to Downtown Miami this winter, Maze Lounge brings an unparalleled combination of premier nightlife-driven hospitality, elevated cocktail programming, entertainment, and cuisine. Maze Lounge is looking for a seasoned VIP Manager with the following experience and skills:- 3 years of experience as a VIP Manager or Door Manager working in upscale and high-volume nightclubs
- Additional experience working in upscale restaurants, bars, hotels and/or events
- Proven record of success generating revenue via table sales or private rooms sales
- Proven record of success reaching sales targets
- Access to a wide and highly qualified local and international clientele database
- Experience supporting different marketing channels (public relations, social media, events promotion)
- Experience selecting guests at the door
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Experience directing reception and security teams
- Experience managing people based on fundamentals of labor laws and motivational leadership
- Tech savviness to be able to operate different technology platforms
- Excellent communication skills in English, and preferably, working knowledge of Spanish
- Base salary plus performance-based bonus

- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shifts
- Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb and carry objects as necessary
- Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment, in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, dancing, bright lights, sun, rain and dust
