We seek a dedicated and certified Athletic Trainer to join our team in Ohio. The ideal candidate will provide top-notch care to athletes, ensuring their safety and well-being. The Athletic Trainer assumes responsibility for on-site athletic training coverage at designated schools and community events. Responsibilities include injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, developing conditioning programs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum Level: Bachelor's degree
• Degree Type: Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• Major/Area of Study: Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or equivalent
• Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current Athletic Training license in the State of Ohio.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site athletic training at designated schools and community events as instructed.
• Deliver prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation adhering to Premier Health standards.
• Engage in continuous education and stay abreast of industry trends.
• Participate in public speaking engagements to raise awareness and educate on sports medicine.
• Contribute to cost management initiatives within the sports medicine department.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service for athletes and stakeholders.
• Work with other sports medicine team members to enhance effectiveness.
