Veterinary Technician Supervisor

HR‑Level Supervisor Moore Lane Veterinary Hospital is looking for an engaged leader to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of leadership experience. While veterinary experience is preferred, leadership experience is the most important prior qualification for this role. Overview Supervisors implement the structure determined by department managers. Supervisors are responsible for developing team members within their department and overseeing employees. Functional Responsibilities Evaluate the efficiency of a day’s labor allocation and determine whether to send team members home early, call in additional team members, or alter upcoming shifts in consultation with the department manager. Conduct monthly mentorship meetings with mentors, covering: Bottlenecks in training Updates to training protocols and processes Support for under‑performing employees and recognition for over‑performers Develop mentees within their capacity. Collaborate with the department manager on departmental goals and objectives. Maintain documented one‑on‑ones with direct reports. Commit to revenue‑driving behaviors that measurably improve practice profitability. Act as second‑level decision maker for client financial concerns. Drive talent development initiatives.
