Under the direction of the Materials and Stores Supervisor II, CF, Materials and Stores Supervisor I, CF is responsible to run the Recycle and Salvage Program (RASP) by coordinating waste and recycle and to meet landfill diversion rates and to reduce institutional operating expenses. This position is also responsible to deliver food and various items to all institution kitchens. Assists with general warehousing duties (receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory, ordering and some data entry. Maintains accurate records on incarcerated individual's time. Maintains order and supervises the conduct of incarcerated individuals assigned. Supervises, trains and instructs incarcerated individuals in their work. Submits periodic written appraisals of incarcerated individuals conduct and productivity. Prevents escapes and injury to themselves or to property. Maintains security, inspects premises, searches incarcerated individuals for contraband such as weapons or illegal drugs.Note: Main communication for this position will be through email. Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
