• Required Qualifications: Certifications and licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) registered, current license to practice, no minimum years of experience required.
• Additional Information:
  • Performs a wide range of respiratory procedures including chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and ventilator management.
  • Conducts diagnostic tests such as chest X-rays, EKGs, pulmonary function studies, and arterial punctures.
  • Assists with advanced procedures like bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care.
  • Follows all policies related to laboratory testing and equipment maintenance.
  • Performs CPR according to Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) guidelines.
  • Operates and maintains ventilatory equipment, assists with preventative maintenance, and records treatments and patient responses.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and communicates effectively with physicians during shift changes.
