Security Officer - Part-time

Felician University is presently seeking a dynamic, energetic and self-motivated security professional to safeguard the University’s facilities and enforce established security policies and procedures with University personnel, students and visitors to the campus. Position Type: Part-Time, 12-months, Non-exempt Department: Campus Safety and Security Date Posted: August 28, 2024 Required Education: High school diploma or GED required Qualifications: Minimum of one year experience in security, military or related field monitoring property and safety; prior experience in a college/university setting preferred; ability to successfully complete a University training program for certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED within 90 days of hire; Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) certification; willingness and ability to do physical labor including heavy lifting within manageable and safe parameters; occasionally lifting 25 to 50 pounds at a time.
