Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Hackensack, NJ

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform ventilator setup, monitoring, and management.
• Assist with intubations and airway management.
• Assess and evaluate patient respiratory status.
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Float to adult ICU, intermediate care, and basic intermediate care units as needed.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Respiratory Care License (Required)
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RRT experience
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
• Previous ventilator management experience required
