Emergency Room RN

Asa Healthcare Staffingis seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ER Nurse will provide high-quality, veteran-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, emotional resilience, and a commitment to serving our nation's veterans with dignity and respect. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and individualized nursing care to veterans in the Emergency Department. Triage patients based on acuity, and initiate life-saving interventions as needed. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with VA protocols and physician orders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans. Document all care and patient responses accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR). Assist with diagnostic procedures and coordinate with ancillary departments (e.g., radiology, laboratory). Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and discharge instructions. Maintain a clean and safe environment consistent with infection control and safety policies. Respond effectively in crisis situations, including code blue, trauma, and disaster events. #J-18808-Ljbffr
