Hudson Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead one of our Zaxby’s restaurants.

The General Manager is responsible for the restaurant’s people, culture, guest experience, operations and financial performance.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can build a strong team, maintain high standards and take ownership of results.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Restaurant-management experience required
• General Manager or comparable restaurant-leadership experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of scheduling, inventory, labor and cost management
• Ability to review restaurant performance and develop improvement plans
• Willingness to lead hands-on in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong work ethic and commitment to high operating standards
• Ability to complete all required Zaxby’s training

What You’ll Do

As General Manager, you will:

• Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train and retain a high-performing team
• Coach restaurant leaders and develop future talent
• Create a positive, accountable and performance-driven culture
• Maintain high standards for food quality, guest service, cleanliness, accuracy and speed
• Build schedules that support the needs of the business while effectively managing labor
• Manage inventory, food costs, product variance and controllable expenses
• Review financial and operating results and implement plans to improve performance
• Drive restaurant sales, profitability and guest satisfaction
• Ensure cash, deposits and other financial controls are handled accurately
• Maintain compliance with Zaxby’s brand standards and company policies
• Ensure all food-safety, workplace-safety and regulatory requirements are followed
• Address guest and team-member concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain the restaurant’s equipment, facility and overall appearance
• Communicate restaurant performance, staffing and operational needs to above-store leadership
• Take ownership of the restaurant’s people, culture and results

Leadership and Development

Hudson Restaurant Group provides structured onboarding, hands-on operational training and direct support from experienced restaurant and above-store leaders.
