Bookkeeper Position

Twin City Staffing is hiring a bookkeeper for an established manufacturing company in Brooklyn Park, MN! In this essential accounting role, you will record daily financial transactions, reconcile bank accounts, manage AP/AR, process payroll, and generate core financial reports using QuickBooks and Excel. Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Wage: $28 – $35/hr

Hours: 1st Shift: Flexible start between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday

Duties of the bookkeeper:

• Record daily income, expenses, sales, and receipts accurately into accounting software
• Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements with internal financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes including tracking invoices and vendor payments
• Process employee payroll by calculating wages, withholding applicable taxes, and issuing payments on schedule

Requirements of the bookkeeper:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping or general accounting experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• High software proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong technical understanding of fundamental accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, debits, and credits
• Demonstrated experience producing core financial statements, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (formal accounting coursework or degree is a plus)
