Director of Operations

Director of Operations & Administration MAPS Security, LLC — Louisville, KY MAPS Security is seeking a high‑capacity operational leader to oversee our administrative teams, support staff, coordinators, and internal workflow systems. This role is the central command for office operations — ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and accountability across scheduling, service coordination, project administration, customer communication, and financial processes. The Director of Operations & Administration also leads budgeting, financial tracking, and operational projections, working directly with the CEO to deploy company strategy and support long‑term growth. If you excel at building structure, developing people, tightening processes, and managing financial performance, this is a pivotal leadership role with significant impact. What You’ll Lead Coordinators, administrative staff, and support personnel Daily workflow for scheduling, service coordination, project administration, and customer communication Internal processes, SOPs, and workflow improvements Cross‑department communication between office and field teams Accounting support functions including job costing, billing accuracy, purchasing oversight, and financial documentation What You’ll Own Annual budgeting, departmental budget management, and operational forecasting Monthly and quarterly financial performance tracking Labor efficiency monitoring and operational margin awareness Vendor management and purchasing approvals within company guidelines Implementation of systems and tools that improve administrative and financial efficiency Deployment of the CEO’s operational vision through structured processes and measurable objectives Key Responsibilities Build and maintain a culture of urgency, ownership, and professionalism Ensure administrative teams follow MAPS standards for communication, documentation, and workflow accuracy Coach, develop, and evaluate support staff; address performance issues decisively Support escalations related to scheduling, communication, or administrative workflow Provide the CEO with regular operational and financial reports Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions that improve workflow, customer experience, and profitability What Makes You a Strong Fit 5–8+ years of operational or administrative leadership Experience in low‑voltage, construction, service, or similar technical industries Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and operational reporting Proven ability to lead support teams in fast‑paced, detail‑heavy environments Excellent process‑building, organizational, and communication skills High sense of urgency, accountability, and follow‑through Ability to enforce standards and manage pushback confidently Comfort working directly with executive leadership Do-er - servant leadership.
