Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position located in Golden, Colorado. This role involves performing radiographic procedures in accordance with physician specifications, including patient transfers, operating ionizing radiation equipment, and assisting with X-ray examinations. The technologist will ensure safety, quality, and timely patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour night shifts from 7:30 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification - CT certification - BLS (American Heart Association) certification - 1+ years of experience in radiologic procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as the ability to learn applications relevant to the position.

• Additional Information:
  • The technologist will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, operate imaging equipment, and evaluate image quality.
  • Responsibilities include patient education, positioning, immobilization, and ensuring infection prevention protocols are followed.
  • Handling contrast preparation and administration, following ALARA radiation safety measures, and supervising student radiographers are integral parts of the role.
  • A radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required for this assignment, with the use of an existing badge encouraged if available.
