Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long-Term Care

Location: New York, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Mid 5x8-Hour Shift (14:00 - 22:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in long-term care to join our team. The ideal candidate will support patient care by assisting with daily living activities, vital signs monitoring, and maintaining patient comfort. You will work in a collaborative environment to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with ambulation, feeding, and personal care.
• Perform routine vital signs checks and document findings.
• Support in the management of incontinence and other hygiene needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Participate in turning and repositioning patients to prevent bedsores.
• Assist with the use of assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs.
• Manage call lights and address resident needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1 year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting.
• New York State CNA license required.
• Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred).
• Ability to float to different units as needed.
