Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA to build and integrate large data sets of space, air, and ground systems focuses on building high-assurance, resilient pipelines that synchronize data across multi-domain environments.
Program Overview
Location : El Segundo, CA
Clearance: Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI, which only a U.S. citizen can obtain
What You’ll Do
- Multi-Domain Data Integration : Design and implement end-to-end pipelines that ingest and normalize data from disparate sources, including satellite payloads (space) , aerial sensors (air) , and terrestrial stations (ground) .
- High-Assurance Pipeline Development : Build highly reliable, scalable data structures capable of operating within the strict technical and security constraints of classified networks (e.g., Cross-Domain Solutions).
- Protocol & Standard Management : Work with industry-standard space and ground protocols such as CCSDS , XTCE , and MIB to manage command and telemetry data.
- Real-Time Data Operations : Monitor and automate real-time data feeds, ensuring the timeliness and integrity of mission-critical "data brokering" between producers and consumers.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Deploy and manage data clusters in secure, containerized environments (Kubernetes) and cloud ecosystems like AWS GovCloud using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Development of Interface Control Documents (ICD)
- Development of APIs (Application Programming Interface)

What We’re Looking For
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI, which only a U.S. citizen can obtain
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering
- Experience integrating data from multi-domain environment.
- Familiarity/Experience w/ DevSecOps Engineering
- Experience with AI tool development
- Experience developing ICD and APIs.
- Experience working in a fast-paced new development environment utilizing cutting edge technology to achieve desired results.
