Job Description Job Description About the Role: John W Kitzmiller MD PC in Lake Orion, MI is looking for a friendly and organized Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our medical practice. Responsibilities: Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays at time of service Maintain and update accurate patient records and medical files Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office Handle general administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and data entry Requirements: Prior experience in a medical front desk, receptionist, or administrative role preferred Familiarity with medical terminology, EMR/EHR systems, and insurance verification a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment Proficient in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) About Us: John W Kitzmiller MD PC is a trusted medical practice serving the Lake Orion, MI community with personalized, compassionate patient care.
