Full time employees also have access to medical, dental, vision, and other insurance options.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE BRANCH MANAGER A Branch Manager will handle the daily operations of our warehouse and distribution center. A Branch Manager should maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the warehouse team as well as provide impeccable customer service to our customers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Control and manage inventory with an accuracy level of 99%Enforce all company rules, regulations, policies and procedures with assistance from Human ResourcesEnsure orders arrive on-time to appropriate destinations with correct quantitiesImplement continuous improvement plan projects and process improvementsImplement cost reduction measures and continuous improvement projectsImplement measures of warehouse improvement and development of warehouse teamMaintain strong customer relationshipsMaintain compliance with all federal, state and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.Manage all warehouse operations and ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every jobManage teambuilding and motivation of warehouse team with assistance from Human ResourcesManage the warehouse in its entirety by ensuring receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through the warehouse, and scheduling and assignment of team membersManage warehouse team and oversee daily operationsManagement and development of warehouse team by selecting, orientating and training employees with the assistance from Human ResourcesManagement of warehouse team by appraisals, coaching, counseling, mentoring, monitoring and disciplining with assistance from Human ResourcesPerform general inspection of all equipment utilized in the warehouseSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES:Experience with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel & WordExperience with Microsoft TeamsExperience with EpicorExperience with WMS and Customer TMS transportation portalsAbility to drive change and continuous improvement initiativesAbility to delegate responsibility and authority to maximize use of employees' skillsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers, managers and employeesAbility to gather data, compile information and prepare reportsAbility to organize resources and establish prioritiesAbility to operate powered industrial lift trucksAbility to work in a team environmentInteract well with employees at all levels within the organization and be able to build and maintain positive working relationshipsMust be self-directed and possess a high level of personal organization and drivePossess customer-focused attitudePossess excellent problem-solving skillsPossess excellent communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonalStrong attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlinesWillingness and ability to be flexible and adapt to changing job requirementsWorking knowledge of all warehouse processes, policies and procedures with ability to performExperience with ISO 9001LTL/TL and small parcel shippingSafety Program Management and leading/facilitating meetingsExperience with VMIManagement of remote staff (site coordinators)P&L responsibilities and managementManage direct local warehouse staffQUALIFICATIONS FOR A WAREHOUSE BRANCH MANAGERHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of experience in warehouse operations or distribution managementPreferred: Bachelor's degreePreferred: Lean or Six Sigma experienceMust be willing to drive company truck when neededWORK SCHEDULE & SALARY This position requires working a 1st shift Monday – Friday, salary range is $82,000 to $92,000 per year.READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
