Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking General Laborer to join our grounds maintenance team in Flovilla, GA. The General Laborer will report directly to the Grounds Superintendent and assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the campground. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Grounds Superintendent in daily maintenance tasks, including but not limited to landscaping, lawn care, and general upkeep of the campground.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of facilities, structures, and equipment.
• Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment and decorations for events and activities.
• Ensure all areas are kept clean and free of debris, including walkways, parking lots, and common areas.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete assigned tasks.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the Grounds Superintendent.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies and communicate any needs for replenishment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in general labor or groundskeeping preferred.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
