Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for New Mexico
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Passion for empowering students to achieve educational and developmental goals

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group OT services to students, supporting their academic and functional participation in school activities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
• Develop, implement, and monitor progress on student-specific treatment plans and goals
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and outcomes as required by school and state guidelines
• Adapt interventions and strategies based on student progress and changing needs
• Provide training, consultation, and resources to teachers and staff to promote inclusive environments
• Attend meetings and contribute expertise to support student IEPs and 504 plans
