Job Description

Job Summary:
The Vascular Ultrasonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic vascular ultrasounds to evaluate blood flow and vascular conditions. This role supports vein treatment programs and assists in patient assessment and treatment planning.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive venous insufficiency exams, including thermal, chemical, and foam venous ablations.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accurate image capture and data quality.
• Document findings thoroughly and communicate results to the medical team.
• Adhere to all safety and procedural protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate treatment plans based on ultrasound findings.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including ensuring all information is correctly entered for travelers.

Qualifications:

• Possess RVT or RVS credentials.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience in a vein treatment program.
• Proficient in performing complete venous insufficiency exams.
• Skilled in thermal, chemical, and foam venous ablations.
• Have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
