Job Responsibilities Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs to establish customized therapeutic strategies aimed at helping them reach their functional objectives. Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ researched therapeutic techniques to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday living skills. Collaborate within Dynamic Teams: Engage with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care. Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques to maximize ongoing improvement in the home environment. Track Progress and Evaluate Outcomes: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring optimal progression for each patient. Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Encouragement and support for continuing education or advanced certifications. Licenses and Certifications Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
