SLP Specialist - Kansas City, KS Location: Kansas City, KS Discipline: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Dates: August 5, 2024 - May 23, 2025 Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours/week Details: Provide support and intervention for students with speech needs Number of Positions: 5 Onsite or Voco: Onsite Special Requirements: Active Kansas SLP License Kansas City Kansas Public Schools is seeking dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. As an SLP Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students by providing essential speech and language services. Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student needs.
