Kidney Specialists of North Houston is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established and growing nephrology practice. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans Round daily at dialysis facilities Participate in hospital rounding and inpatient care Collaborate closely with nephrologists and interdisciplinary care teams Educate patients and families on treatment plans and disease management Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care across multiple care settings Schedule Full-time position Monday through Friday Approximately two half-days per week in the office Daily rounding at dialysis facilities Hospital rounding responsibilities Local travel required between practice sites and care locations Qualifications Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) degree from an accredited program Current or eligible Texas licensure Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Interest in nephrology and long-term patient care Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Productivity bonus opportunity Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays CME support and professional development opportunities If you’re looking for a supportive team, meaningful patient relationships, and the opportunity to build a career in a growing specialty, we’d love to hear from you.
