Salary: $32/hour

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) $32/Hour Blended Rate

Location: Fulton State Hospital Fulton, Missouri
Start Date: August 1, 2026, or until filled
Contract Length: Up to 12 months

Pay

$32/hour (Eligible travelers may receive a blended pay package that includes a weekly stipend.)

Schedule

CNAs will work four 12-hour shifts per week on either day or night shift. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required.

Day Shift: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM
Night Shift: 6:45 PM 7:15 AM

Mandatory Orientation

Selected candidates must attend five consecutive weeks of paid New Employee Orientation from 8:00 AM 4:30 PM. No absences are allowed during the orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and support, including vital signs, hygiene, ambulation, and transfers
• Document patient location, status, and activities
• Escort patients as needed within and occasionally outside the hospital
• Assist with keeping patient common areas clean
• Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and take appropriate action
• Communicate changes in patients conditions
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures
• Comply with Fulton State Hospital and Missouri Department of Mental Health policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current CNA certification
• Ability to successfully complete required background and clearance processes
• Ability to attend the full five-week mandatory orientation
• Availability to work the assigned day or night schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
