About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, 27801!

• Deliver clinically competent nursing care to patients on a Telemetry/Stepdown unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Administer and manage cardiac drips as required by patient condition
• Float to additional units (such as COVID unit) as needed based on staffing demands
• Perform and document neurological assessments using NIHSS per protocol

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state
• Telemetry experience required
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Basic Arrhythmia certification required (minimum passing score of 85%)
• NIHSS certification required (renewed annually)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Prior experience in a Stepdown or progressive care setting

• Opportunity to work in a specialized Telemetry/Stepdown environment with a dynamic clinical team
• Contract position offering schedule consistency with expected 36 hours per week on night shift
