Description
American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital, open to first-time travelers, requiring 1 year of experience and offering day shift hours.
Details
- Short term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds
- EEG Tech unit with 1:1 ratios
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Weekend rotation includes a Wed-Sat schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Rotating weekday and weekend on-call required, typically 2-4 weekdays per month and 1 weekend every six weeks
- Occasional coverage of weekend day shifts when other staff are on PTO
- Block schedules required
- Will float between facilities, commuting approximately 11 miles
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ABRET certification preferred but not required
- License required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
- All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
- Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- Minimal to no RTO accommodated
- No fee for parking
