Senior Industrial Maintenance TechnicianPoclain Hydraulics is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our hydraulic motor manufacturing operations. This is not an entry-level maintenance position. We are looking for a highly skilled industrial maintenance professional with extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing complex manufacturing equipment in a heavy industrial environment. Our facility includes CNC machining, assembly, heat treat, paint, and materials operations. The ideal candidate has a strong industrial maintenance background supporting production-critical manufacturing equipment and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where uptime, reliability, and responsiveness are essential.What You'll DoTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex industrial manufacturing equipment and systemsSupport CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, assembly equipment, heat treat furnaces, paint systems, conveyors, and facility infrastructurePerform advanced troubleshooting on:Mechanical systemsIndustrial electrical systemsPLC-controlled equipmentHydraulic and pneumatic systemsServo motors, drives, sensors, and controlsExecute preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliabilityLead or support machine rebuilds, upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projectsUtilize CMMS systems to manage work orders, document repairs, and track maintenance activityPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failuresSupport emergency equipment repairs in a production-driven environmentMaintain safe work practices including lockout/tagout and OSHA complianceProvide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced maintenance personnelRequired Experience & QualificationsStrong Industrial Maintenance Experience RequiredMinimum 7–10 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environmentDemonstrated experience maintaining and repairing production equipment in an industrial manufacturing facilityExtensive troubleshooting experience with:CNC machine toolsIndustrial electrical systemsHydraulic and pneumatic systemsPLC-controlled equipmentAutomated manufacturing equipmentAbility to read and interpret:Electrical schematicsHydraulic and pneumatic diagramsMechanical drawings and technical manualsStrong understanding of industrial maintenance best practices and equipment reliability principlesExperience performing equipment rebuilds, installations, and major repairsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electrical Maintenance, or related fieldExperience with vacuum heat treat systems or furnace equipmentWelding and fabrication experienceExperience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environmentsWhat Sets This Role ApartThis position is heavily focused on true industrial maintenance work in a manufacturing environment — not facilities-only maintenance.
