Job Number: R0238102 The Opportunity The Product team is defining a new product‑led growth business within Booz Allen where you will have the opportunity to design, build, and deliver products to mission and commercial customers at scale. This role focuses on building next‑generation detection and remediation engineering products that outsmart human adversaries and manage massive data scales at the intersection of software engineering, digital forensics, and AI. You will blend knowledge of threat modeling with a passion for eliminating SIEM & SOAR noise and alert fatigue, leveraging Booz Allen’s deep experience in delivering differentiated security outcomes. As a Product Manager, you will work across the entire product lifecycle: identifying high‑impact AI use cases, defining the technical roadmap, collaborating with engineering, data science and go‑to‑market teams, and ensuring the product meets complex security and audit requirements for regulated customers. What You Will Do Own the end‑to‑end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a next‑generation detection engineering platform that leverages AI to surpass current human‑driven models. Leverage frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to understand lateral movement, exfiltration, and persistence. Identify and validate use cases where AI automates time‑consuming outcomes and builds hooks for automated response. Design interfaces prioritizing critical threats, reducing analyst noise from SIEM & SOAR offerings. Implement detection workflows as code, using version control, CI/CD, and automated deployment. Conduct deep market research on emerging threat detection landscapes, competitors, auditor expectations, and customer pain points. Translate complex requirements into detailed, prioritized product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Serve as the primary product leader, partnering with technical product teams to align engineering, data science, UX, legal, compliance, and go‑to‑market groups. Define data ingestion, labeling, security, and governance strategies for training, validating, and operating AI/ML models while respecting privacy and compliance. Engage with target customers—CISOs, Red Teams, IT admins—to validate prototypes and ensure product exceeds expectations. Own, prioritize, and manage the product backlog and communicate strategy to translate into actionable user stories and epics. Work with engineering and technical product leads to define system design, architecture, and ensure robustness, security, and scalability. You Have 7+ years of experience in technology product management. Experience analyzing and solving problems. Ability to manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch. Thriving in fast‑moving startup environments and leading change. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, data science, applied mathematics, or business. Nice If You Have Experience with SaaS platforms involving multi‑tenancy, subscriptions, billing, and compliance requirements. Experience with detection engineering, including authoring and tuning detections across SIEM, EDR platforms, detection‑as‑code, or CI/CD workflows. Experience with threat hunting using telemetry, analytics, and threat intelligence to identify adversary activity. Experience with incident response—including alert triage, investigation, containment, and remediation. Experience leading a product team toward a shared goal and driving consensus across the organization. Experience breaking down complex, ambiguous problems into manageable pieces and developing innovative solutions. Experience with design tools such as Figma to enhance product conceptualization. Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework for detection mapping and adversary analysis. Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, detection, cyberthreat intelligence, AI, distributed systems, and cloud‑based infrastructure. Compensation and Benefits Salary is determined by factors including location, education, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected annualized range for this position is $125,300 to $233,000.
