Job Summary:
The specialized nursing position on the medical surgical oncology floor is located in the State of Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with established practice standards. The responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, providing health teaching and counseling, executing delegated medical tasks, and maintaining proper documentation. The position offers the opportunity to support patient well-being through supportive and restorative therapies, referral, and treatment plan monitoring. Job Details:

• Location: 1233 N 30th St, Billings, Montana, 59101, United States
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school; current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS certification by the American Heart Association; ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit or service; at least 1 year of experience in nursing or relevant clinical setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; previous experience as a Registered Nurse; certification appropriate for the specific unit or service
• Additional Information: The role may require the nurse to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. The staff may also be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts to ensure optimal patient care and coverage.
