Deburr Technician/ Shop Helper

Shift: 1st, 8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri

Pay: $16-$17 per hour, DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload workpieces onto the machine.
• Inspect workpieces to identify any defects, irregularities, or imperfections.
• Measure and mark workpieces to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform grinding operations to remove excess material, achieve desired dimensions, and create a smooth finish.
• Heavy lifting, cleaning cores, banding metal pieces.
• Make adjustments to the machine settings as needed to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a deburr tech, grinder or in a similar role in a manufacturing or fabrication shop.
• Knowledge of grinding techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy workpieces when necessary.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements
