Full-Time Portable Dental AssistantMid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team! This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Lafayette, IN area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.Hourly rate $27.00 hour for clinic hours worked and drive timeNO weekend hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings accountCompany vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance cardAn active Indiana X-ray License is required for this opportunityMid America Health strives to provide an excellent work/life balance. This will be one of the most rewarding jobs you've ever had and will give you a true sense of value and importance!Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Duties Include:Responsible for maintaining portable equipment and supplies as well as maintenance of company van, all which remain in your possession at all times.Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as neededResponsible with loading/unloading and setup of dental operatory inside schoolVarious administrative dutiesFull-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Qualifications Include:Current Indiana X-ray License is a MUSTCurrent CPR for Healthcare Providers required1-year Dental Assistant experience preferredWillingness to travel within a 2-hour radius
