What You'll Do

As our Preschool Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside a Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

You'll:

• Assist with daily lessons and classroom activities using Goddard's Wonder of Learning® curriculum.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Help prepare children for kindergarten through hands-on learning and meaningful experiences.
• Encourage positive behavior, independence, and appropriate classroom routines.
• Assist with classroom organization, transitions, and daily activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers.
• Support the Lead Teacher in maintaining a structured, engaging learning environment.
• Maintain strong health, safety, and licensing standards.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred.
• Experience working with children ages 3–5 is a plus.
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Must meet Pennsylvania childcare licensing requirements and pass required background checks.
