This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology / Moderate Sedation Schedule

• 36 or 40 hours per week
• Day shifts, 10 or 12 hours
• On-call required for weekends and nights

Position Overview

• Join a dedicated team that provides moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area
• Care for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care
• Responsibilities include intraoperative moderate sedation and circulating when not providing moderate sedation
• The RN administers moderate sedation, closely monitors the patient's cardiac and physical status, and collaborates with the physician to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy

Required Qualifications

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Moderate Sedation experience required
• IR (Interventional Radiology) experience required
• Minimum two (2) years of experience required
• Telemetry required
• Ability to administer and monitor conscious sedation independently required
• Circulate ONLY

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital
• Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital

Required Certifications

• BLS - American Heart Association ONLY
• ACLS - American Heart Association ONLY
