About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse I Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year in Adult Home Health or Hospice License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase and Oasis. Recent home health experience is required. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Description: Provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders, based on agency policies and procedures. Responsible for the competent application of the nursing process. Supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses. Conducts home visits and attends periodic office meetings. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned clinic. Each contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. Documentation, travel, and each type of visit hold different point values based on productivity expectations. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. On-call requirements vary, with occasional weekend duties. Must accept all patients scheduled, regardless of distance from previous appointments. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment. No guaranteed hours are provided; must meet weekly productivity points. Travelers must be proficient in HomeCare HomeBase and Oasis, with recent usage. Local candidates are accepted at the same requirements.
