The unit consists of 16-20 beds, and the nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, ensuring quality care for each patient. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients with a variety of complex medical conditions, including but not limited to: Sepsis Heart Failure Hypertensive Emergency Respiratory Failure Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Chronic Kidney Disease Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (TDM2) Substance Abuse Status Epilepticus Encephalopathy Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a step down or similar unit. Current and valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
