Overview Job Title: Junior/Senior Investment Operations Associate Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204 Job Duration: 6 months contract Parker is in the Client Tower Parking Garage and is paid for by company. Laptop provided. Training will be completed onsite then hybrid schedule 3 days in office 2 days WFH per week. Job Summary: We currently have an opportunity in our Investment Operations Department for an Analyst who will be responsible for processing account transactions and reconciliations, generating reports, and acting as liaison for internal and external contacts. This position will also support day-to-day resolution of complex problems and be involved in process improvement projects. Additional responsibilities and projects will be assigned commensurate with demonstrated competency of previous assignments. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Supports day-to-day resolution of complex investment accounting problems and transaction processing and is responsible for the client portfolio reconciliation processes. Assists with administration of portfolio accounting system. Interprets and analyzes information and prepares reports for management. Resolves issues quickly with a sense of urgency. Leads small to medium sized projects with varied levels of complexity. Identifies opportunities in processes and recommends improvements. Manages and builds relationships as both internal and external liaison. Balances conflicting resource and priority demands. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Possess strong analytical skills Ability to multi-task Self-motivated, with natural curiosity Works well in a team environment Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills Involvement in process improvement projects Experience with fixed income securities (preferred) Experience with derivative securities (preferred) Experience with non-USD securities (preferred) Familiarity with SWIFT (preferred) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrate a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; remains current with developments and trends in areas of expertise. Portfolio accounting systems and databases. Strong Excel skills. Effective written and oral communication. Ethical conduct and integrity in all activities. Prepare analyses and information reports for management. Analyze problems and develop creative solutions. Handle stressful situations and provide high level of customer service in a calm and professional manner. Provide efficient service to internal and external clients. Collaborate and work in a team environment; foster cooperative work across functional areas. Attend to detail while maintaining a big-picture orientation. Education Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree and three (3) years of relevant experience or combination of education, training and experience.
