Location: Tavares, FL 32778
Job Type: Contract [NO BENEFITS]
Duration: 12 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $24.00/Hour

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong front- and back-office experience, excellent patient-care skills, and hands-on experience with phlebotomy and EMR systems.

• Assist with front- and back-office clinical and administrative duties.
• Room patients and obtain/document vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, and blood draws .
• Administer and assist with vaccinations as required.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system .
• Assist with patient scheduling and appointment coordination.
• Manage incoming phone calls and patient inquiries.
• Provide general clinical support to healthcare providers and the care team.
• Maintain a professional, patient-focused environment.

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience ; externship experience does not count toward the required experience.
• Phlebotomy/venipuncture and blood draw experience required.
• EMR experience required.
• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with both front- and back-office duties .
• Experience with patient rooming and obtaining vital signs.
• Vaccination experience preferred/required as applicable.
• Experience with scheduling and phone management.
• BLS or CPR certification required.
• Candidates without BLS/CPR may be considered pending approval.
