Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Weekend coverage may be required | Every other holiday per department rotation | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EHR
• Participate in weekend coverage rotation as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certificate required
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certificate required
• Proficiency with Epic EHR
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
• Experience with high-acuity and trauma patient populations
• Strong triage and critical thinking skills in a high-volume environment
