Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients suffering from orthopedic ailments, diagnosing conditions and determining appropriate interventions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients on preventive care, rehabilitation techniques, and self-management strategies, including personalized home exercise plans.
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare practitioners, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to provide holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to all healthcare regulations and documentation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries such as fractures, joint replacements, sports injuries, and arthritic conditions. You will engage with a diverse group of patients, including active individuals seeking to regain functionality and mobility, as well as older adults who may require specialized attention to ensure safe and effective rehabilitation. Your ability to adapt treatment approaches will be essential in meeting the varied needs of our client base.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited medical institution.
• Possess an active Physical Therapist (PT) license to practice in Florida.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic settings, demonstrating proficiency in assessment and treatment methodologies.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education and collaboration.
• Show excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively within a busy rehabilitation setting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD $90,000 to $120,000 annually, determined by experience and qualifications.
