A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital in the Boise, ID area. This contract position offers a dynamic hospital environment with an ASAP start and a commitment of 13 weeks or more. The schedule consists of Monday through Friday day shifts, providing a balanced workweek.
Location:
- Boise, Idaho
Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify medication orders to ensure patient safety and efficacy
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, fostering a productive and compliant work environment
- Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to optimize pharmacotherapy plans
- Utilize pharmacokinetics knowledge to adjust dosing and improve patient outcomes
- Employ Cerner pharmacy IT system for documentation and medication management
Qualifications:
- Active Idaho Pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one quickly
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in an acute or rehab setting
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Proficiency with hospital pharmacy software (Cerner preferred)
